Six Community residents honored by Eden Jaycees

Eden - Six community residents were among those honored by the Eden Jaycees Thursday night for their contributions to the city over the past year.

The Outstanding Teenager award was presented to Ashley Wilkins, who began a nationally recognized recycling program in conjunction with ITW Hi-Cone to collect six-pack rings. Her efforts resulted in an invitation to the White House from Hillary Rodham Clinton.
