Step 1
Join the Ring Leader Recycling Program. It's easy and it's FREE.
Step 2
Once you receive your Ring Leader Kit, review and display all materials in a prominent place that will help generate interest (i.e. cafeteria, hallway, break room, etc.). It may be helpful to form a Ring Leader Committee of 4-5 people to help spread the word.
Step 3
Begin collecting recyclable six-pack rings. Encourage others to join you in the collection process. Are there other classes, schools, or even businesses that could contribute to your collection effort?
Step 4
Conduct and participate in activities that demonstrate the importance of recycling. Your Ring Leader Kit contains several classroom activities plus you can visit the
Ring Leader Web site or call ITW Hi-Cone for additional activity ideas.
Step 5
Once you have collected a substantial amount of rings, use the postage paid address labels included with your Ring Leader Kit and send the rings back to ITW Hi-Cone for recycling. Congratulations, you've closed the recycling loop!

Step 6
As a valued Ring Leader, it is very important that you continue
to recycle and expand your efforts. While it may start with one
person or a classroom of students today, the results will make a
difference for everyone tomorrow.
